Condition

Overall very good condition. Only a few of the elements of the spray with very subtle bending. A very good early example of the form.

Catalogue Note

In a letter written by Harry Bertoia at the time of purchase, the artist noted that the present lot was the first "Spray" sculpture executed with a round base and the largest to date.
