This seating group represents the apex of Josef Hoffmann's collaboration with the firm of J. & J. Kohn.  Featured in the 1910 J. & J. Kohn exhibition in Buenos Aires, the model is recognized today as one of the icons of early 20th century Viennese design.  Hoffmann's elegant creation combines the traditional elements of an English club chair with the aesthetic of Wiener Moderne.
