Overall in very good condition. All of the mica in the shade is original. As expected, the mica with light surface soiling and discoloration, and with some occasional minor surface flaking consistent with age and gentle use. There are two vertical stress fractures to two of the mica panels which extend from the bottom perimeter border (4 inches and 1 ½ inches respectively) with some associated lifting. All of the copper tabs on the interior of the shade which hold the mica panels in place appear intact and undisturbed. The hand-hammered copper surfaces with a few light surface scratches, some occasional areas of small oxidation spots and surface soiling, and some gentle rubbing consistent with age and use. The sockets and pull chains appear to be original. An attractive example displaying very graceful lines and proportions. When illuminated, the mica imparts a beautiful warm ochre glow.
