Condition
Overall excellent condition. The metal planes with very shallow surface scratches. Some of the edges to the side of the chair are slightly rough to the touch, but this is a result of the design and not an issue of condition. The chair comes apart in horizontal sections of approximately eight to ten plates.

Bengtsson began developing furniture utilizing a series of complex planes in 1999. The original "Slice" chair was executed in laser-cut plywood and aluminum.
