Description

  • diameter: 4.7cm, 1 7/8 in.; width: 3.1cm, 1 1/4 in.
each lid set with a small Coronation medallion of the King and Queen in profile, signed 'E. FUCHS 1901' and 'ELKINGTON', the first box probably English, circa 1901, circular, the hinged lid engine-turned under translucent electric-blue enamel, unmarked, ink inventory number '425'; the second silver-gilt, Bell & Willmott, London, 1900, rectangular with cut corners

Both boxes in excellent condition, well-made and attractive.
