the openwork borders set with rose-cut diamonds and seed pearls, containing three painted photographs: at centre, Queen Marie of Hanover (1818-1907) in widow's weeds, flanked by two of her sisters, Elizabeth (1826-96), wife of Peter II, Grand Duke of Oldenburg, and Alexandra (1830-1911), wife of Grand Duke Constantine Nikolaevich of Russia, Vienna control marks, inventory label 'II. 358/495'
