  • height 7.8 cm., 3 1/16 in.
of rectangular form, the nephrite panels mounted in gold frames inset with chased laurel leaves in green gold set with small blossoms in each corner, the rectangular aperture with beaded frame enclosing a photograph of Empress Maria Fedorovna of Russia and Grand Duke Michael Alexandrovich, the back in gold, with curving strut and suspension ring, marked on the backing only Fabergé with workmaster's initials and scratched inventory number 40847, 56 standard
