Description
- 121cm. high, 64cm. wide; 3ft. 11½in., 2ft. 1in.
the back with chip carving the arched cresting with guilloche and date, the back panel with stop fluted arch, the shaped arms on turned supports and with boarded seat, the moulded seat rails with scroll apron, the square and baluster turned legs now with partial stretchers

Condition
Of worn and honest condition with old losses and attractive colour. The cresting rail with fragmenting. Splits to the back panel. Fragmenting and indents to arms and supports. Separations and splits to seat. The right front leg with a lot of fragmenting. Two stretchers lacking. Remaining stretchers and feet fragmented. Reverse of chair with two later applied batons. An evocative survivor.
