Condition
Of good honest appearance with wear commensurate with age and use resulting in marks, chipping and indents throughout. Typical slight warping to top and leaves. The central top section with old partially fragmented borders adjacent to the leaves. Some old scratches and a partial split at the edge of one end in this central top section. The reverse of the leaves with later timber gate stops and indications of hinge site changes. The varied hinges old but not original to this lot except possibly one example. Turned supports and gates generally tidy but usual old traces of worm on components at the base and with fragmenting on profile gate feet tips. Old partial fragmenting to boarded stretcher and some typical old fragmenting on sledge feet. An attractive small and practical table with a prestigious old retail label of Frank Partridge. A useful lot that would make a good lamp table.
