- Book of The Psalms of David: Approximately: 4cm. (at highest point at edge), 8.5cm. wide, 11.5cm. deep; Double Book: approximately: 4.5cm. high, 6.5cm. wide; 11cm. deep
one book printed with The Psalmes of David, with a metal-thread appliqué binding, worked on both sides and spine with purl work floral motif within a lozenge, and corner foliate motifs, together with a double sided book printed with The New Testament of the Bible, and other side with a Psalm book, frontispieces printed New Testament of our Lord Saviour and Jesus Christ, Printed at Cambridge, by the Printers to the Universitie. 1628, and with Veni Creator, the binding worked on both sides and spine with polychrome silk threads and metal-thread and purl work highlighted scrolling foliate and floral motifs, on a cream silk ground, paper edged with gold leaf embossed scrolling motif design (2)

An English printed paper New Testament Bible and Psalm Book, 17th century, Approximately: 4.5cm. high, 6.5cm. wide; 11cm. deep:
Metal thread tarnished in part, and some loose or lacking completely in some areas. Silks faded, for example petals of some of flowers. The now dirty cream silk ground is distressed in areas with blue textile ground visible beneath and particularly at the edges. Inside cover of the Psalm book section, inscribed in black ink, the inside of the cover for the New Testament section has paper lining lacking, and shows the bindings

metal tarnished overall and lacking in areas, silk ground perished and lacking and all colour lacking from supporting textile ground. Some evidence on one side of green silk threads used. The inside of the covers have the ground textile cover and the back cover still has blue silk lining, now lacking on front inside cover
