- 44cm. high, 44cm. wide, 21cm. deep; 1ft. 5¼in., 1ft. 5¼in., 8¼in.
the panel door with carved arch and centred by an inlaid bog oak and holly geometric motif, the interior with eight drawers including five drawer fronts with carved flower head motifs

Condition
Attractive colour, nice patina and with decorative door details. Usual wear commensurate with age and use. The polished top with partial splits and areas of old filler. The door with old split in panel and some lifting inlay and losses to the centre. Partial split in left column and old chipping to the capitals. Old insert timber filler adjacent to the escutcheon. Door with original side hinges. The reverse of the door with old fragmenting and a replaced section of timber near lock site. Ghosting in this area from former lock and the brass lock is later, key lacking. One side with traces of varnish at the top. The old boarded back of this lot with two later pierced hanging apertures. The interior tidy and with variations to the knob handles. This spice cupboard has added credence as it is illustrated in Victor Chinnery.
