Description
- 105cm. high, 83cm. wide, 46cm. deep; 3ft.7¼in. 2ft.8½in., 1ft.6in.
the rectangular top above a cupboard door carved with Gothic tracery flanked on either side by two tracery panels interposed by crockets, the sides with two linenfold panels above a frieze drawer carved with tracery with similarly carved side friezes, the squared legs joined by a shelf on stile feet
Condition
Evidence of insect damage, especially to the top. Construction crack to top and gouges which can be filled. Attractive detail to carving. Metalwork later. Old restorations generally. There are also construction cracks and cracks generally to stretcher. In overall good conserved condition. Small size, very rare. Highly recommended.

Although several larger examples of this type of dressoir have survived, this dressoir is extremely rare due to its small size and only one other dressoir of similar proportions is known to exist to date, being the one illustrated here.
