Description
- 55cm. high, 48cm. wide, 30cm. deep; 1ft. 9½in., 1ft. 6¾in., 1ft.
the boarded seat, branded 'PH' above a plain frieze with moulded apron, the square and baluster turned legs joined by peripheral stretchers

Condition
Generally good with execllent colour and patina. There is typical wear commensurate with age and use including old chipping, indents and fragmenting. The top with old scratches, small partial split, black marks and indents. Some old fragmenting on one of the short lateral friezes. The legs with old splits and wear and partial losses to the turned details. The upper and lower sections of the legs with partial splits and partial fragmenting. One long stretcher with old fragmenting on underside. This is a fine, rare and substantial stool.
