Description
- 126cm. high, 93cm. diameter; 4ft.1½in., 3ft.½in.
with a turned and baluster stem, the cresting cast with the Virgin and Child, above two graduated tiers of six candlearms cast with stylised vine leaves and grapes, the hexagonal pierced nozzles above gadrooned drip-pans, terminating in a finial in the form of a lion mask with a ring in its jaws; drilled for electricity
Condition
Some very minor tarnishing and dents to the drip-pans. Some of the candlearms on the lower tier appear to have been re-soldered, but this has been well executed and is hardly noticeable. Gilding on ring of different colour to the rest. Attractive model. Highly decorative.
