carved with two angels flanking a roundel carved with a crown of thorns the symbol of the Crucifixion

There are cracks generally commensurate with age as visible from the photograph. There are later additions at the top and bottom, but these are quite a good colour match and not too noticeable. There is an added triangular section which is a slightly brighter colour on the bottom right. Evidence of old worm to the reverse which appears to be no longer active. In otherwise good condition. Attractive panel.
