Description

Designed as an articulated foliate spray decorated with pearl drops representing acorns, the leaves set with cushion-shaped, circular- and rose-cut diamonds.

Condition

Accompanied by a report from The Gem Testing Laboratory of Great Britain, no. 0128655, stating that two pearls were found to be natural. 1. Irregular button shaped pearl, weighing 9.08 carats, measuring approximately 9.80mm x 11.00mm x 10.7 mm. 2. Drop shaped pearl, weighing 9.49 carats, measuring approximately 10.4mm x 11.00mm x 12.80mm. The pearls of various shapes, cream and white and brown body colour, with slight rosé overtones, medium lustre. Pearls with slight blemishes and imperfections to the surface. Traces of lead solder to underside and inside, not visible when worn. White adhesive visible to edges of two pearls. Diamonds bright and lively. Some tarnishing to the gold mount commensurate with age and wear. Later pin to the reverse. .
