Description
Designed as a series of oval and stylised cross links, each oval link centring on a pearl of varying tints, millegrain-set with circular- and single-cut diamonds, length approximately 170mm.
Condition
Estimated total diamond weight approximately 6.00-6.50 carats, mixed colours and clarities. Accompanied by a report from The Gem Testing Laboratory of Great Britain, no.0128656, stating that three principle pearls were found to be natural:
1. Iridescent grey/black pearl, measuring 10.2mm x 10.5mm x 9.1mm, weighing 7.56 carats.
2. Cream/white pearl, measuring 8.6mm x 8.8mm x 7.7mm, weighing 4.24 carats.
3. Cream/white pearl, measuring 8.6mm x 8.8mm x 6.8mm, weighing 3.54 carats.
Two smaller pearls not tested.
Pearls of bouton shape, grey, cream and white bodycolours, some rosé overtones. Low lustre. Evidence of wrinkling to grey pearl and growth marks to cream pearl. Evidence of tarnishing and lead solder to reverse. Secure clasp with safety clip and chain. In good condition.
