Description
Centring on an oval facetted sapphire weighing 10.41 carats between tapered shoulders pavé-set with single-cut diamonds, French import marks, maker's marks, size K.
Condition
Stamped with French import marks, assay marks and maker's marks to outer shank. Sapphire measuring 14.00mm x 8.35mm x 9.25mm, calculated to weigh approximately 9.08 carats, very slightly violetish-blue hue, moderate saturation of colour. Typical inclusions visible under x10 magnification. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 0.30-0.50 carats, bright and lively stones. Evidence of resizing to shank. In excellent condition.
