Description

  • the largest figure 22.5cm. high.
comprising: five larger figures and three Netsukes, together with two amber flasks, covers and wooden stands, and a rock crystal flask and cover

Condition

The ivory figures: male figure with child on his shoulders: right hand of child restored, possibly replaced, craquelé to the base; elderly male figure: some surface soiling and rubbing to the painted ornamentation, losses to the attribute in his left hand and on his left sleeve, few small imperfections; lady with two children: in overall good condition; pair of figures: both in overall good condition; the three Netsukes: in overall good condition, the fisherman with small piece missing to the vat; the amber flasks: both with craquelé, one with rubbing to the surface, both with small dents, marks and scratches, tiny rim chips, one cover with small lion finial missing, traces of tape glue to the covers; the rock crystal flask: one large crack running down from the upper rim over the body (ca. 7cm. long), one shallow bruise to the cover of the rim.
