Description

the curved, open back with an X-form splat joined by an ormolu rosette; the seat padded with faux- tiger upholstery, with curved rails mounted with a star on sabre legs. Sixteen later side chairs. 20 pieces.
Condition
The leg of one of the old chairs has broken and has been restored twice. Traces of puncture marks along the sides of the seat rail. One of the backs of the seat has suffered an old break and restoration to the right side and to the X-form splat. With old minor marks, surface abrasions- consistent with age. Traces of tarnish marks to the mounts, some of which are slightly loose. The other sixteen chairs are in otherwise good condition, with general minor marks consistent with use.
