Description

- 127 cm; 89 cm
the balloon-shaped Montgolfier inspired upper section with glass rows and an ormolu belt issuing ten curved glass fronds issuing cut glass garlands; the central standard issuing ten further fronds and garlands above a circular corona issuing drops with ten Greek key-shaped candle arms; the whole joined to a smaller ring, joined by in-curved arms fitted with drops. Wired for electricity.

Condition
Minor surface dirt. Some of the top fronds have been restored and resolded. One is bent and held on by wire and would probably benefit from some restoration. Another has been restored. Tarnish marks to the ormolu generally in some areas, such as the central corona and small coronas along the standard. Some rubbing to the gilding. Some losses to the drops. Some drops with chips, others replaced. In otherwise good condition.
