the rectangular top inlaid with rectangles and diapers, above two frieze drawers above a cupboard door, flanked by eight small drawers above two frieze drawers, the drawers inlaid with scroling foliage, grotesque winged figures and masks; the sides with handles, the whole raised on ivory ball feet; above a later ebonized stand on turned tapering legs joined by a curved and wrought iron stretcher.
Condition
Minor restorations in areas. Old minor marks, chips and scratches consistent with age and use. Losses to the ivory inlay, most of which has been filled. Age and construction cracks consistent with age and use. Old worm. Areas redecorated. The base with the top loose with the wrought iron section detached from the stretcher. With surface abrasions dents and marks consistent with use. In otherwise good condition.
