signed XUE'AN XIA JINGGUAN, dated gui you, 1933, early winter, titled, inscribed, with a dedication, and two seals of the artist. Titleslip by Wu Maojie who commissioned the piece, frontispiece by Fu Zhu and Xu Chengyao, annotations by twenty of the artist's peers including Huang Xiaoshu, Chenyan and Ye Gongchao

- Colour of the illustration appears to be slightly more intense than that of the actual painting.
