Condition

Each in good condition. Originally an accordion album, now cut into two paintings each. They are framed under textile mats in seven frames.

Ikeda Taishin was the leading pupil of Shibata Zeshin who worked in the Meiji period. His pupils included Umezawa Ryushin, a member of the Art committee of the Imperial Fine Arts Academy and the Imperial Household.
