Description
of hexagonal lobed form, decorated in gold and silver hiramaki-e with tessen (clematis), accentuated by large Daishoji ume (plum) family crests (mon), on a nashi-ji ground, the interior with a brass lining and a pierced brass cover
Condition
Silver lacquer is oxidized in places but consistent with its age, gold hiramaki-e (especially on three family marks) has some minor scratches, otherwise in good condition
