Description

the rectangular box and cover with slightly rounded sides, the exterior decorated in gold, silver and iro-e hiramaki-e, takamaki-e, kirigane, hirame, nashi-ji and kimpun, the cover and sides with maple and pine trees on rocks and cascades, the interior of the cover with weeping cherry blossoms in gold, over a intricately drawn stream, on a nashi-ji ground, the interior of the box in nashi-ji, with silver rim (2)

Condition

Several kirigane (very small cut gold sheet inlays) are missing on the cover and side but inconspicuous and overall in very good condition.
