Description

the circular waisted drum decorated with various patterned bands, the top centered by a star, four double 'frogs' at the outer edge of the top, the sides with a pair of twinned loop handles near the top, two elephants above the foot on one side, olive-gray patina, now mounted on an ebonized wood base

Condition

moderate polish to star at center, uneven surface patination, a few small scattered spots of light verdigris, sides with several cating flaws, 4 inch horizontal slit near top, 2 inch vertical slit along on vertical 'seam' above foot, 1 1/2 by 1/2 inch loss at base of one 'seam, 1/4 inch hole by other 'seam'
