the square top over a recessed waist and shaped apron, on four legs of square section terminating in hoof feet, the top decorated with incised and colored birds and flowers, bordered by shaped reserves containing birds and flowers against a diaper ground, the legs with floral vines within long reserves

surface worn and abraded, with degraded shellac, craquelure throughout, color faded, areas of restoration, inpainting, restored chips and cracks, restoration to joints of legs and feet, legs possibly of a later date, long vertical cracks across top
