Description

the reddish-brown vessel of cylindrical form, with intense 'rivering', 'ghosting' and 'furring', the slightly recessed base centered by a plug, the interior and exterior surface with rich patina

Condition

In good overall condition with very nice patina. One very thin crack emitting from the foot ring later filled in with a barely noticeable splice, 2 1/2 inches long, associated with a very fine star crack one the base. Three additional negligible cracks to the base, the largest 2 1/4 inches long, another running up the side 3 1/4 inch. One old chip to the interior rim 1/4 inch long.
