Description
of deep rounded form, brightly enamelled on the interior with a central medallion enclosing a lotus spray, encircled by a lappet band, the sides decorated with a scrolling lotus meander, all below florets at the rim, the exterior enamelled with two phoenix with long fluttering tails and ruffled wings, swooping amongst a composite floral meander, below florets at the rim and above upright lappets, with further florets encircling the footrim, the foot decorated with a large peony blossom, all reserved on a turquoise ground

Condition
There is general expected wear to the rim. There are characteristic scattered pinprick burst air bubbles, some of which have been filled in with wax. Otherwise the bowl is generally in good condition overall.
