A fine large yellow-glazed bowl Mark and period of Kangxi

Description

of well potted deep form with rounded sides rising from a high tapered footring to an everted rim, covered overall with a glossy rich yellow glaze pulling in places to reveal the fine white body beneath

Condition

There is some uneveness to the glaze at the mouthrim at the exterior and the interior, in the form of 'dribbles' and 'tear-drops'. The glaze on the interior has been fired to slightly smoky grey colour. There are five short firing lines on the base, the longest approx 0.9cm.
