modelled after the archaic jade 'cong' form, of square section with a short cylindrical neck, well moulded on the sides in relief with a pair of elephant-head handles suspending fixed rings, covered overall with a thick, rich power-blue glaze, inscribed on the base with the six-character mark in underglaze-blue

The vase is in good condition with only minor expected surface wear.
