Description
very well potted with deep rounded sides springing from a wedge-shaped footring and flaring delicately towards the rim, veiled in a lustrous even yellow glaze, leaving the base glazed white
Condition
There are two firing lines at the foot under the glaze; one approx 1.2cm, and the other approx 2.5cm of which there is a small patch of dicolouration next to the glaze approx 0.5 by 0.4cm. There is a small firing kiln chip to the foot under the glaze, approx 0.5 by 0.2cm. Apart from the natural firing flaws, the bowl is in good condition, with only light surface scratches on the interior. The glaze is glossy and slightly brighter than the illustration depicts.
