Description

the body of baluster shape rising from a recessed base to a short slightly tapering neck, painted around the exterior in rich cobalt-blue line and wash tones with the bajixiang amidst an undulating leafy lotus scroll, all within a classic scroll at the foot and a diaper collar encircling the neck

Condition

The jar is in very good overall condition with the exception of some fritting around the rim and very minor shallow flakes to the bottom of the footring, some minor firing imperfections including iron-spot glaze imperfections, pinhead-sized blisters and light glaze scratches.
