Description
the cylindrical body rising from a recessed base to an angled shoulder and short narrow tapering neck, covered overall with a lavender-blue glaze save for the biscuit neck, wood cover, 10.5cm., 4 1/8 in; together with an aubergine-glazed square baluster vase and a green-glazed dog

Condition
Jar: Good condition overall with very minor surface abrasions to glaze. Four pinpricks on base. Wood cover with a thin crack from rim.
Vase: Three shallow chips to the glaze on the rim. The foot is slightly wobbly. Very minor kiln grit and craquelure on the glaze. Otherwise in good condition.
Dog: The glaze has degraded in the crevices. Tiny firing flaw on one side of the nose, and a shallow chip on the lower jaw.
