Description
modelled in the form of a lotus flower, with two rows of petals, with a central Tibetan lanca character circled by two rows of ruyi, the exterior with the top row of petals with lanca alternating with flowers, on a raised foot, 18.5cm., 7 1/2in; together with a small blue and white dish, Wanli Period, the interior painted with a band of ducks and flowers, below a band of lotus in reserve on a blue ground in the well, 14.9cm., 5 7/8in; together with a small blue and white bowl, Jiajing mark, Transitional Period, the exterior painted with a stylized design of chrysanthemum

Condition
The Lotus dish has restoration to a number of the tips of the petals on the rim and a number of the tips to the second row of petals to the second row of petals on the exterior. There is some fritting to the rim of the smaller dish and some pitting to the glaze to the interior and exterior. There is a minor firing flaw to the foot rim of the small bowl.
