Description

of globular form, set to the shoulder with three lion masks divided by a trumpet-shaped spout, painted around the exterior with fruiting grapevine and surmounted by a large squirrel handle

Condition

The ewer is in overall good condition. There is some glaze pitting particularly around the rim of the spout and the raised parts of the design. There is overall very light wear to the glaze.
