Description

the circular box with tapering sides rising from an angled flat base, the stepped flat cover freely incised with leaves and covered overall in a transparent straw-white glaze

Condition

The box is in good condition, with very minor kiln grit to the interior and some firing flaws on the base, one resulting in an 8 mm wide pit. Very small chips to the interior of the rim. An indented potting flaw near the foot. The cover is also in good condition with a circular firing flaw to the underside. Minor glaze wear to the edges.
