Description

the fruit carved in the round and issuing out of a leafy branch terminating in curled 'fingers', wood stand

Provenance

Private European Collection.

Condition

The carving is in very good overall condition with the exception of a tiny nibble to the end of one 'finger'. There is also a faint vein/flaw one one of the stems, and some surface wear to a nearby 'leaf'. The color is slightly more celadon than the catalogue image suggests.
