Folio (19 ½ x 12 ¾ in.; 495 x 324 mm). 96 engraved maps (95 double-page), handcolored in outline with most cartouches and other decorative elements fully handcolored, text and maps on guards; both titles supplied, the first from a French edition of Blaeu, the second from a shorter copy of the present work, lacking 6 maps called for in the index, some leaves browned or spotted with marginal soiling, occasional dampstaining, title-page and first few leaves rather frayed at margins, a few maps creased or with marginal tears repaired, second title and map of Natolia sive Asia minor (Blaeu) loosely inserted. Contemporary gold-stamped vellum decorated in a panel design, edges gilt and gauffered; soiled, stained, ties gone.
