Catalogue Note
This table formed part of the commission which Henry van de Velde received from the then internationally famous Galerie Arnold in Dresden. It is visible in a photograph of the gallery interior during an exhibition of van de Velde silver. He furnished several rooms of the baroque house, including display cabinets and furniture for the showrooms.
