Condition
Lot 143 is offered in situ in a domestic residence in London (the Premises). Following receipt by Sotheby's of the full purchase price (including buyer's premium and VAT thereon) in cleared funds, the buyer and their contractors will be given access to the premises upon prior arrangement with the owner of the Premises through Sotheby's. The lot will be de-installed by the owner and will be stored at the Premises. The buyer will be wholly responsible for the collection of the lot at the buyer's expense by the 18th December 2008. The buyer shall cause as little inconvenience as possible to the owner of the Premises in collecting the lot, and agrees to ensure that the Premises are left in fully safe and sound condition (including, without limitation, in respect of structural condition and any electrical fittings or systems at the Premises) following collection.
Collection of the lot from the Premises and all activities related thereto will be entirely at the buyer's own risk and the buyer is advised to arrange suitable insurance in respect of their obligations hereunder. The buyer agrees to indemnify the owner of the premises, Sotheby's and any Sotheby's affiliated company in respect of any loss or damage suffered by them as a result of any breach of the buyer's obligations hereunder.
