Description
- a painted and gilt wood "Sedes Sapientiae"
seated on a bench in frontal position, the Virgin holding an apple in her left hand, later paint
Condition
This group is a survivor. The paint is refreshed. There are losses to her crown and the child's left arm as well as the edges of the Virgin's veil. There are diagonal cracks extending from the Virgin's lap. Otherwise, overall wear, chips and worming.
