Description

  • an oval marble relief of an angel
nude but for scant drapery, leaning on an extinguishing torch

Condition

This marble relief has developed a yellow patina over time. It is in good condition, however, it exhibits wear, some minor chips around the edges and pitting consistent with age and the material. There are remnants of the adhesive material of a tag on the bottom, proper left hand side of the relief (which could be easily removed). The relief is fitted with a metal brace for mounting on a wall.
