- A white marble figure of Neptune and the Sea Horse
- After Michel Anguier (1612-1686)
Condition
This marble exhibits some minor weathering, chips and some surface dirt. The fingers on the left hand are detached. The left hand is loose at the wrist. There is some yellowing to the left side of the marble, otherwise in good condition.

Catalogue Note
This dramatic group is after one of a series of bronze gods and godesses modelled by Michael Anguier in 1651. The figure of Neptune was one of the most popular of the series.
