one a later replacement, one inscribed on the back Laudin emaillieur a Limoges, the profile portraits with green laurel wreaths and inscribed around
Condition
Overall condition good . Some evidence of rereshing to the gilding. There is enamel loss where the ovals have been pierced for attachment and evidence of minor restoration.

Catalogue Note
Compare with four circular medallions in the Louvre which Baratte suggests that the heads were ultimately inspired by engravings by Marcantonio Raimondi or Henrik Goltzius.
