Condition
The canvas has been re-lined. There are a few spots of minor retouching visible under a varnish under ultraviolet light, notably to the darker areas of the upper centre. Apart from some minor frame rubbing to the extreme edges of the work, and some scattered very fine craquelure, this work is in good condition, with a clean surface and bright colours. Held in a decorative, gold-painted moulded plaster and wood frame with incised motifs and a name plate.
