Condition
Original canvas. There are no signs of retouching visible under ultraviolet light. Apart from some fine, scattered craquelure, some minor frame rubbing visible to the left edge, and two flecks of minor paint loss to the lower right, this work is in very good condition, with rich tones, and ready to hang. Held in a decorative, brown-painted moulded plaster and wood frame.
