Condition
The canvas has been relined. There are spots of retouching, notably to the upper and right sides of the composition, partially obscured under a varnish. Apart from some scattered areas of craquelure and a small spot of paint loss to the lower right corner, this work is in good overall condition. Held in a decorative, gold-painted moulded plaster and wood frame.
