Condition

The panel is sound but bows slightly at the upper right corner. Ultraviolet light reveals no readily visible retouching, and there is only some slight frame abrasion, mainly to the left edge of the panel, so the work is in overall very good condition. Held in a heavy faux-ebonised moulded plaster and wood frame with a silver inner edge.
